Chantal Pinösch waits until she has fulfilled her family and professional duties before allowing herself to paint.
At first simple curiosity, but quickly painting becomes a passion, a thirst for creation.
Painting she says is an exploration, a discovery with each painting, an adventure in color or in black and white, a great exercise in letting go which leads to a dialogue between the painter and the canvas as if the shapes and colors had something to reveal and that the painter would only be the instrument, the revealer.
She tries her hand at watercolor then moves on to acrylic and aerosol which give her more freedom, allowing combinations with different mediums even fabrics, papers, minerals.
Her painting wants to be abstract with some incursions into the figurative if the painting leads her towards this path.
Painting and creating are factors of balance for Chantal Pinösch, she feels it as a particularly rewarding activity, first in creation and then in sharing with others which allows a kind of communion with the other, touched by an induced emotion by the art.
Since spring 2017 Chantal has been exploring the oil technique.
